A Great Time to “Gleek-out”

A Great Time to “Gleek-out”

Annie Roebuck ‘15, Staff Writer

If you have not joined the millions of Glee fans around the world, otherwise known as “gleeks”,
it is not too late to be a part of the club! Glee, now in its fourth season on Fox, continues to
please fans with its music, comedy, and drama. Not only do the cast members cover the
classics such as the soundtrack to “Grease,” but they put their spin on today’s tunes like “Call
Me Maybe”. This season, new characters Marley, Jake, Kitty, and Ryder bring their own
drama to the club, and present relatable viewpoints while navigating the halls of high school.
Most recently the writers have touched controversial topics including eating disorders and
dyslexia. Favorite characters from the earlier seasons continue their journeys in New York
City as they chase their dreams to Broadway. The daily dramas of the high school glee club
students, combined with new adventures in the Big Apple, create a fresh enjoyable show each
week. Whether you are a fan of tunes from a few decades ago or the album that just dropped
yesterday, Glee encompasses a little something for every viewer to enjoy.
