Revolution Radio Ready: A Preview of the Upcoming Green Day Concert

Punk rock band Green Day will take the stage here in Pittsburgh on March 25th at the Petersen Events Center on their Revolution Radio Tour, which celebrates their new album of the same name.  Hailing from East Bay, California, Green Day was formed in 1986 by Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt.  Tré Cool has been the band’s drummer for most of their time as a band and they have also had various touring members throughout the years.  Gaining much of their popularity and notoriety in the mid-nineties, Green Day has remained popular over the years, gaining more fans as time passes.  They have not been to Pittsburgh since 2013, when they visited the Consol Energy Center on their 99 Revolutions Tour, so this show is sure to be a treat for any fans attending.  This event has been greatly anticipated—tickets have been sold out for months—and Pittsburgh fans are ready to see these punk rockers take the stage in their city yet again.
