Welcome Back, Ms. Seeger!

The Oakland Catholic community is very excited to welcome Ms. Seeger to our faculty.

After graduating from Oakland Catholic in 2008, Ms. Seeger continued her education at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English. There, she fondly recalls how she got to write a 60 page paper on her favorite novel, Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. She then received her Masters of Arts in Teaching at the University of Pittsburgh.

Due to the positive atmosphere created by teachers, students, and other staff members, Ms. Seeger was eager to return to OC and to work alongside the exceptional educators that inspired her just a few short years ago.

Ms. Seeger’s life-long passion for the humanities brought her to where she is today: a teacher of 10th grade, 11th grade, and 12th grade Honors World Literature and Creative Writing. She has greatly enjoyed her job so far and is glad to be back in high school, only on the other end of the classroom as a teacher. Most of all, Ms. Seeger loves the class discussions that have already taken place so early on in the year. As for the rest of the school year and for many years to come, Ms. Seeger looks forward to teaching Shakespeare, witnessing Spirit Week, and possibly moderating a club.
