On May 9, 2018, the Pittsburgh CLO announced nominations for the 28th annual Gene Kelly Awards for High School Excellence in Musical Theater. The members of Oakland and Central Catholic’s Masque were very excited to discover that their stunning production of A Chorus Line received two nominations! Johanna Loughran ‘18 received the first nomination for Best Actress for her role of “Cassie,” and whole cast received the second nomination for Best Execution of Choreography. The entire cast is thrilled with their nomination, and is especially proud of Johanna for the recognition of her hard work and talent. After spending so much time in continual rehearsals, drilling dances for hours on end, the nomination is well-deserved and gratifying to the cast. Congratulations!

* The Gene Kelly Award Ceremony will be held on Saturday May 26th. *
